Legal basis
The doctorate is regulated by the Download Ordinance on the Doctorate at ETH Zurich (PDF, 255 KB) and the associated implementing provisions of the Download Rector’s Implementation Provisions for the ETH Zurich Ordinance on the Doctorate (PDF, 312 KB).
If the doctorate is linked to any employment at ETH Zurich, this is regulated by the Download Ordinance Governing Scientific Employees of ETH Zurich (PDF, 204 KB) and the Download Directives for Doctoral Students Employed at ETH Zurich (PDF, 188 KB) with the corresponding information sheet.
