Research area
Isha is a doctoral student in the Seismology and Wave Physics group. She is implementing full waveform inversion methods for medical imaging in both acoustic and elastic mediums, focusing on wave-based imaging for transcranial ultrasound applications.
During her master's, she did a project on earthquake source analysis using symmetric autoencoder at IISc, Bengaluru. She did her Master of Science and Technology in Applied Geophysics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Dhanbad. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Physics from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, during which she worked on environmental seismology.
