Geology and Geophysics
The Major in Geology and Geophysics gives an in-depth understanding on the Earth's and other planet's composition, formation and structure as well as the processes, that formed and will continue to form the Earth.
Covered topics are Geology, Mineralogy, Geochemistry, and Geophysics. Teaching comprises lectures with computer and laboratory exercises, case studies, excursions and field courses. The Major in Geology and Geophysics offers a well founded qualification for all majors of the consecutive Master's programme in Earth Sciences.
